Wyoming & Colorado
Summer 2016 out west — our first fourteener, the highest paved road in North America, sledding down a glacier, and the Oregon Trail ruts. In Laura’s words.
Summer so far has been pretty awesome. Another great day!
bagged our first “fourteener” 🏔
AHmazing day! Drove (well I rode) up the highest paved road in North America.
Another great day with more wonderful views. Had lunch with the pikas and sled down a glacier.
cowboy up
stopped to see the Oregon Trail Ruts on our way to explore the Badlands. Evan says “today we are going to see those people in the mountain.” Can’t wait to pull these pictures out when they start learning about this stuff.
Our almost three year old climbed all the way to the tree line. She did it all by herself except for a few spots where her little legs couldn’t reach the next rock.

Happy Birthday to this sweet girl 🎈 3 looks good on you!!!
This was my memory for today…one of my most favorite pictures ever (on the left). The one on the right is just for laughs.
6 states and 2500 miles of amazing sites and hikes. Saw old friends and met new ones. Back home to have a little more fun before school starts.
🌤️ Weather we had (the Colorado Rockies): Highs around 56°F, lows around 32°F, with 2 rainy/snowy days (0.8”).
